Santa Claus is coming to town!

Located at the Raymond Community Center

Santa Claus will arrive at the Raymond Community Center following the annual celebration of Customer Appreciation Day, co-sponsored by the local businesses who are members of the Raymond Civic and Commerce, and Xcel Energy.  Customers are welcome for a free lunch from 5:00-6:45 p.m. at the community center, according to Civic & Commerce leaders Larry Macht, Dan Goeman and Judy Steffen.  They will be serving barbecues, beans, cookies and beverages.

At 7:15, Santa will be escorted into town on the 18-wheeler by the Raymond Fire Department.  Cameras are welcome as kids young and older get a chance to tell Santa their hopes and dreams for Christmas gifts.  Santa will have a treat bag for each child.

Those attending can bring gifts for others less fortunate too.  Non-perishable food shelf items are welcome, which the Civic and Commerce will deliver to the Willmar Area Food Shelf.

This event is co-sponsored by the Raymond Civic and Commerce and Xcel Energy.
